Starting a Session

The prison interface is accessed through your organisation’s web browser. No login is required. Navigate to the URL provided by your administrator.

You will land on the Step 1 – Privacy & Consent screen, and a new session begins automatically. You will see:

  • A session timer in the top bar, counting up from zero — this records the duration of the session
  • An encryption indicator (lock icon) confirming the session is protected
  • A Terminate session button, which you can use to cancel the session at any time

Each time you navigate to the prison interface, a new session is created automatically. If you need to start again mid-session, use the Terminate session button rather than refreshing or closing the browser — this ensures the session is properly recorded as cancelled in the system.

From the moment a session starts, the system records:

  • The time the session began
  • The time the session ended or was terminated
  • Whether the session was completed or cancelled
  • The demographic information entered in Step 2
  • The listings and appointments selected in Step 4

All data is encrypted and stored securely. Client names are only retained if a booking is made, and are deleted after the appointment.
