Starting a Session
Accessing the Interface
Section titled “Accessing the Interface”The prison interface is accessed through your organisation’s web browser. No login is required. Navigate to the URL provided by your administrator.
You will land on the Step 1 – Privacy & Consent screen, and a new session begins automatically. You will see:
- A session timer in the top bar, counting up from zero — this records the duration of the session
- An encryption indicator (lock icon) confirming the session is protected
- A Terminate session button, which you can use to cancel the session at any time
Starting Fresh
Section titled “Starting Fresh”Each time you navigate to the prison interface, a new session is created automatically. If you need to start again mid-session, use the Terminate session button rather than refreshing or closing the browser — this ensures the session is properly recorded as cancelled in the system.
What Gets Recorded
Section titled “What Gets Recorded”From the moment a session starts, the system records:
- The time the session began
- The time the session ended or was terminated
- Whether the session was completed or cancelled
- The demographic information entered in Step 2
- The listings and appointments selected in Step 4
All data is encrypted and stored securely. Client names are only retained if a booking is made, and are deleted after the appointment.
